Two Ways to File Online Taxes

Many people think that because they do not have a computer they do not have the ability to file their taxes online.  There are two basic ways you can file your taxes online.  Way one;  purchase software that you install on your computer that will allow you to file your taxes online.  Way two; you use a computer connected to the internet and a web browser to file your taxes online.

Many people have the feeling that filing their taxes online is not safe.  They feel their sensitive information will be stolen or lost.  This was more likely to happen years ago when the security of the internet was not as strong as it is today.  Today the same encryption that is used by our Government and our Military is used to encrypt and secure our sensitive transaction’s on the Internet.

So, there are two basic ways to file our taxes online.  Many of you say “but, I do not have a computer?” It is not necessary that you own a computer.  You can still file your taxes online.  The easiest way is to just take a trip to the library.  Yes, just about every library in the United States today has computers connected to the Internet and available for patrons to use.  You can use these computers to connect to the internet and file your taxes online.  You can even save your online tax return to a floppy disk. This allows you to have a copy of your return at home.  You can also print a copy for your records.

Filing your taxes online is the easiest and most stress free way to file your taxes.  Don’t procrastinate, file your taxes today.
